Ways To Give
Annual Giving: All of the money raised through Lake Tahoe School’s Annual Fund helps defray current-year operating expenses and supports the people and programs that make the School remarkable. Participation in the annual fund by parents, grandparents, alumni and employees is a clear endorsement of the School and we strive for 100% participation. Lake Tahoe School is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) institution making gifts to the School tax deductible.
Capital Campaigns: As an independent school, Lake Tahoe School does not receive state or federal funding. The School’s strategic vision, Elevating Education, is our guide to future projects and needs. Major gifts support the LTS vision and provide opportunities for donors to demonstrate their passion and commitment to the school. Stay tuned for further details
Gala and Auction: Lake Tahoe School hosts an annual gala and auction. Funds raised by the event are applied to the School’s annual fund. We look forward to our next Gala in the spring of 2020.
Gifts in Kind: Lake Tahoe School appreciates the many ways that families and friends support the School’s mission. The School’s Gift Acceptance Policy is available for reference regarding gifts in kind.
Planned Giving: Planned gifts provide resources that create extraordinary opportunities and preserve the future for Lake Tahoe School. Types of planned gifts include bequests through your will, gifts that provide income to you and others for life, gifts of life insurance, charitable lead trusts, and gifts of retirement plans. These gifts can be made in cash, stocks, bonds, personal property, and real estate.
