Middle school declamation is always the highlight of the year for 6th and 7th graders. Declamation allows students across all grades to participate in performances, showcasing and enhancing their public speaking abilities. This year did not disappoint as the students took their comedic talents to new heights performing skits from the 1950s to present day. Competition was fierce this year with a couple of ties.

Congratulations to this year’s 6th grade declamation winners:

1st Place
Angie and Chloe – “Captain 3 Times” performed at summer camps across the land

2nd Place
Carolina and Shelby – “Incline Inn Inns and Suites and Hotel Room Inns” by SNL
Parker and Gianna – “EW” by Jimmy Fallon

3rd Place
Patrick – “The Problem with Silver Medals” by Jerry Seinfeld

And congratulations to this year’s 7th grade declamation winners:

1st Place
Kaya, Makenna, and Lily – “The Argument” by Monty Python

2nd Place
Brett – “Stupid in School” by Brian Reagan

3rd Place
