During MakerSpace class this month, Lake Tahoe School’s Kindergarten, First, Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth grades all designed and built a dummy for Diamond Peak’s “Dummy Downhill” event, held Sunday, March 20th. This was an engineering challenge for the students who were tasked with thinking through the best way to make a fun, creative dummy that would sail through the air. All classes succeeded in making it off the giant jump!
