With a strong background in science education and outreach and a passion for place-based education, Melanie has experience teaching K–12 students in both classroom and field settings. Her work has included developing and delivering engaging, standards-based lessons in Earth and environmental sciences, as well as leading community programs on topics like environmental science, conservation, and marine science.
