Originally from New Jersey, by way of Hermosa Beach, California, Lisa and her husband moved to Lake Tahoe in 2022 to enjoy all things outdoors. In fact, she recently added mountain biking to her list.

After a bit of time in the New York finance world, Lisa headed back to school for her masters in education. Best decision ever! Her teaching journey began at an IB middle school in Cherry Hill, NJ, and then onto an independent high school in Southern California. These years were filled with memorable opportunities including teen resiliency research, an East Asian studies fellowship, and mindful education practices. Recently, she co-created a gap program for high school graduates and serves as a teacher coach and mentor.. Her professional journey continues here at Lake Tahoe School where she is happily back with middle school students.

In addition to being a very proud mom to two awesome children who love visiting Lake Tahoe, understanding cultures through experiences, history, and the arts is a priority in her life.
