Tommy Williams, a junior at Incline High School, is already making waves on the basketball court. With a prestigious State MVP title earned in his sophomore year and a state championship game this past season already under his belt, this junior sensation is well on his way to a promising basketball career.

Tommy’s journey began right here at our school. He fondly remembers the unforgettable 8th grade lock-in with his classmates, a testament to the strong bonds he built during his time here. He credits social studies teacher Mr. Casey’s infectious enthusiasm for creating a joyful learning environment, while also crediting Coach Kris, Sr. Harssema, Mr. Fleming, and Ms. Mancuso for making his experience at Lake Tahoe School so amazing.

But Tommy’s story doesn’t end at graduation. Leading his team to a heart-stopping second place finish at the Nevada State Championships this year is a true testament to his leadership, skill, and teamwork. However, it’s the State MVP title that holds the most pride for him – a truly impressive feat!

In addition to tearing up the court in high school, Tommy still appreciates his roots in Duffield Hall. He recently visited Lake Tahoe School for our annual Faculty vs. 8th Grade Boys Basketball game, lending his skills to both teams but eventually leading the faculty to victory.

We at Lake Tahoe School are incredibly proud of Tommy’s accomplishments, and are excited to see where his post-LTS journey takes him next. Go get ‘em, Tommy – once a Bobcat, always a Bobcat!
