Youth Mountain Bike Summer Camp

Wanted: Young mountain bike riders aged 10-14 for a week-long off-road cycling experience exploring the trails near Incline Village. Five days of riding and fun with three seasoned cyclists who are also local teachers guiding and entertaining your rippers through a week of fun morning rides from 9am until noon. Riders should be able to ride 10-12 miles each day through moderate terrain including off-camber single track, some sand, stream crossings, and rocks. Camper drop-off points are at high-altitude locations trending downhill to our pick-up destinations. Snacks and mountain biking gloves will be provided, as well as most on-trail repairs, including flat tires for all tire sizes.


July 15 to 19

Each session is Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 12:00pm. Snacks will be provided.

Campers must be dropped off and picked up at bike destination each day.

Open to students age 10-14.

$495 per camper per week. Camp size is limited to 18 children. First to sign up, first in! Payment required 30 days prior to the start of camp. Registration opens on April 12.

9:00am Camp participants arrive at drop-off point Tahoe Rim Trail Trailhead.
9:00am – 11:45am Ride out and back on the Tahoe Rim and Ophir Creek trails. Ride approaching Chickadee Ridge to hand-feed the chickadees, then down the Ophir Creek trail for 2 miles, games, snacks and return to pick-up point.
12:00pm Pick up at drop-off point Tahoe Rim Trail Trailhead.
