Little Explorers Summer Camp

Join us for a fun-filled week of outdoor exploration, creative play, and hands-on discovery designed especially for young adventurers! Little Explorers Summer Camp is a play-based program that nurtures curiosity, social skills, and a love for nature. With extended outdoor play, engaging themed activities, and plenty of time for free exploration, children will enjoy a week of joyful learning in the great outdoors! 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday-Thursday ONLY. Open to students entering PreK4, Kindergarten, or First Grade in the 2026-2027 school year.

Week #1: June 15 to 18, 2026 (led by PreK Team)
Week #2: June 22 to 25, 2026 (led by Aly Nugent & Nicole Harssema)
Week #3: June 29 to July 2, 2026 (led by PreK Team)
Week #4: July 6 to 9, 2026 (led by PreK Team)
Week #5: July 13 to 16, 2026 (led by PreK Team)
Week #6: July 20 to 23, 2026 (led by PreK Team)
Week #7: July 27 to 30, 2026 (led by PreK Team)
Week #8: August 3 to 6, 2026 (led by PreK Team)

Each session is Monday through Thursday, 9:00am – 3:00pm. Campers should bring a refillable water bottle and a brown bag lunch.

Drop-off & Pick-up at Lake Tahoe School (995 Tahoe Blvd.) at the PreK/Kindergarten entrance gate.

Open to students entering PreK4, Kindergarten, or First Grade (ages 4-6) in the 2026-2027 school year.

$500 per camper per session.

Camp size is limited to 20 children per session with priority given to students currently enrolled in LTS. Payment is required 30 days prior to the start of camp.

Sample Day

  • 9:00 AM – Outdoor Free Play
  • 10:00 AM – Morning Circle & Storytime
  • 10:30 AM – Snack
  • 11:00 AM – Themed Activities/Centers
  • 12:00 PM – Lunch
  • 12:30 PM – Quiet Time (Yoga, Stories, and/or Rest)
  • 1:30 PM – Outdoor Sensory Play
  • 2:45 PM – Closing Circle & Pack Up
  • 3:00 PM – Pick Up
