Business Manager, 2017-18

The Business Manager is responsible for the long and short term planning, control, accounting and reporting of income, expense, fixed assets, and invested and contributed funds of the school. Additionally, the Business Manager is responsible for all activities designated as business office responsibilities including, but not limited to, risk management and insurance, employee compensation and personnel policies, and Business Office compliance with accrediting agencies and the State of Nevada.

The Business Manager is responsible for the design and implementation of employee benefits, the development and oversight of all HR policies and, in conjunction with the Head of School, the structure of employee compensation models and plans.  This position supports the school’s prospective and current families with financial issues relevant to their child’s enrollment. The Business Manager is responsible for the planning and implementing all purchasing policies and procedures. This person assures compliance with all city, state and federal government laws, statutes, and operational requirements to ensure the continued tax-exempt, non-profit status of the institution. It is also expected the Business Manager maintains professional relationships with the school’s vendors, banks, lawyers, auditors, investment managers, insurance carriers, and government regulators.

Music Teacher (Full or Part Time), 2017-18

Experienced music teacher to continue dynamic instrumental and choral program.

  • Ability to provide instruction on a variety of instruments

7th & 8th Grade Humanities Teacher, 2017-18

Candidates must have a deep commitment to working with middle school students as part of a team and be well-grounded in both language arts and social studies. Middle school teachers participate in outdoor adventure learning trips several times a year and are expected to create elective opportunities for students. Coaching experience is a plus. A sense of humor is a must!
